CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Cambria County commissioners approved applications for several grants Thursday morning, including one they say will help with some much-needed repairs for the roof of the Cambria County Courthouse.
During their meeting Thursday morning, commissioners approved applications for three grants.
The first is $579,420 for the county's library system and its community hub project.
The second: $250,000 for Nulton Diagnostics and its medical autonomous care research and development program.
The third is $560,000 to begin work on the courthouse roof.
Commissioners say the goal is to rebuild the new roof completely.
The commissioners say the grant for the courthouse roof would only allow for partial work until they can get approved for a grant that would cover the entire replacement.
